Of course. Summer is definitely a great time for value since it's not high season. And if you come during September, which is a Miami Spice month, you can enjoy some really good food at a very special price. Most famous restaurants do participate in this event. Nevertheless, if you're in Miami, do try Latin food even if the restaurants doesn't look fancy, the food will taste good. Nightlife wise, just simply avoid big night clubs which charges entrace fees and the drinks are expensive. As recommended in my article, try out Purdy Loudge or the Clevelander. They both don't charge entrace fee and the drinks are affoardable. Stay in South Beach to avoid all the hassels since the public transporation system in Miami is not necessarily the best. True, hotels on South Beach are pricier on the ones more inland. But this way, you're withing walking distance to the beach and everything else, which in the end could ended up saving you money anyways. You can check out hotels.com or expedia.com for some good deals on hotels . Please feel free to post the questions if you have any more in mind about the area. I'm here to help :)
