First of all… what is the point of having incarceration/jail if the inmate is able to be an active member in scoiciety… when they lost that right the very moment they committed a crime! Did you read the article posted above? What if the victim is harrased by the inmate or puts out a hit on a person who testified against the inmate. Inmates can write a letter but these letters are all checked out by prisons employees! I read every letter my ex ends our kids because he writes asking them to do illegal things for him! It hurts me that he has not changed in all these years and is WILLING TO RISK GETTING HIS KIDS IN JAIL TO GET WHAT HE WANTS ie cell phones, social websites and the list goes on! I hate to see what he will write & ask them to do when they are adults!
