Stars Continue Winning Streak With a Win Against Anaheim

The Dallas Stars continue winning with a five game winning streak after defeating the Anaheim Ducks 3-1 on Friday night.

Loui Eriksson scored two goals and one assist, and Mike Ribeiro also scored for Dallas. Kari Lehtonen also played an amazing game by making 35 saves. The only goal of the game for the Ducks came off the stick of Corey Perry, while Jonas Hiller took 19 shots during the game.

Eriksson opened up the game early on with a goal thirteen seconds into the first period off a pass from Steve Ott, giving Dallas the lead. Ribeiro doubled the score for the Stars by scoring a goal almost eight minutes into the first period. Anaheim seemed to be getting into form after Perry scored a power-play goal with one second left in the second period. However, Eriksson had the final say in the game, scoring once again two minutes into the third period.

The Dallas Stars (6-1-0) and the Anaheim Ducks (4-2-0) both have games on Sunday; the Stars travel to play the Los Angeles Kings, and the Ducks play the Phoenix Coyotes at home.
