Marvel has announced that they are about to present fans with the first look at superstar artist Ed McGuinness’ Avengers X-Sanction #1 cover.

The safety of the future is at stake and it’s all up to Cable in order to save it – even if that means taking on the heaviest hitters in the Marvel Universe. With only 24 hours to destroy the Avengers, can he take on all of Earth’s Mightiest alone?

Find out as superstar creators Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness kick off the countdown to the 2012’s status quo-shattering event in the Avengers: X-Sanction #1!

Fans can also start getting excited about the Avengers Origins series — For the first time ever, see the path that took Wanda and Pietro Maximoff from mutant terrorists to Earth’s Mightiest in Avengers Origins: Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver #1.

This all-new story featuring the duo’s road to becoming Avengers, courtesy of writer Sean McKeever and artist Mirco Pierfederici, exposes a hidden chapter in the history of the Marvel Universe that no fan can miss.

This November, see how the fastest and most powerful super heroes of all time fought their way into the world’s premiere super hero team.

Finally, last week Marvel.com announced the debut of the Shattered Heroes series where fan favorite heroes of the Marvel Universe were set off into new bold directions.

Originally featured in Fear Itself #7, Marvel has given fans the opportunity to see just how some of the year’s biggest new launches kick off, including Fear Itself: The Fearless #1, The Defenders #1, Battle Scars #1 & this week’s Incredible Hulk #1. They are delivered in four page stories of original content you would not be able to see anywhere else online.

See how Shattered Heroes begins and affects your favorite Marvel heroes, today at Marvel.com.
