In order to understand this story, you have to understand what life is like in that area of Pa. I grew up in that area and my goal in life was to grow up and get out. Life and attitudes in that area are very strange….long cold dark winters, its a very depressing area. People live and die for Penn State football and Steelers football, thats all they have. They protect those teams beyond anything, they live for those teams. It comes as no surprise to me that they protected Sandusky…exposing Sandusky would have been a big black mark on their PSU football team. Sick sick stuff…
