Another sad ending to the tragic jet ski accident involving Usher’s Ex-wife Tameka Foster’s son Kyle Glover (in some reports Kile Glover). Family friend Jeffery S. Hubbard 38, has been identified as the man driving the jet ski that struck Kyle Glover and an unidentified 15-year-old.

The incident occurred on July 6th around 3:25 ET on Georgia’s Lake Lanier. “Basically, a pontoon was pulling two juveniles on an inner tube, and the watercraft ran over the top of them, “Sgt. Mike Burgamy with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources explained to the Daily News, adding that it all happened in a matter of a minute and that Glover took the brunt of the hit.

The unidentified girl injuries are severe. Kyle Glover suffered a head injury which knocked him unconscious. A bystander pulled Glover from the water. The two were flown by helicopter to Children’s Healthcare at Egleston Hospital in Atlanta. Glover has been declared by doctors as brain dead and on life support according to TMZ. As far as Hubbard the driver of the personal watercraft, investigators say alcohol wasn’t involved in the accident. Glover currently remains hospitalized.

Tameka Foster, Glover’s mother spoke to Radar Online and stated “He’s bad.” Usher made a visit to Glover Saturday. The family made a statement to CNN Tuesday, “We know God’s in control, and are leaning on our faith in Him and His word at this difficult time. We firmly believe in the power of prayer and ask that you all continue to pray and lift Kyle up, as it’s the best way we can all support him now.”

There has been an outpouring of support through tweets from several celebrities.

“My prayers go out to Usher and his family!” - Tia Mowry

“My heart hurts for Kyle Glover, Tameka Raymond’s 11-year-old son. Praying for her, Usher and family. Mother love.” - Sherri Shepherd

“My heartfelt prayers go out to Tameka and Usher. Can’t even imagine…” - Russell Simmons

“If you pray, please pray.” - Niecy Nash

Ryan Glover, the President of Bounce TV and former executive with Turner Broadcasting is Kyle Glover’s father. Foster and Usher were married for two years from 2007 to 2009. They share two sons 4-year old Usher Raymond V and 3-year old Naviyd Raymond. Currently the two are in a custody battle over their two boys but that did not stop Usher from sending a private jet to bring Foster to her son, reported by TMZ.

Usher recently received a restraining order for one year against Darshelle Jones-Rakestraw. The woman is claiming to be his wife and allegedly showing up to the singers home.
