It is surely not the fault of the ECB in any way, so if his commitment is to ensure a global well-being situation, why are we asking for some kind of extra help?I totally agree with you, Astrid. At least we are a few here in our country those who really do not believe that someone ''out there'' HAS to save us.

The only way to get recovered is to restart the financial system, that's it! But on our own... Unfortunately, not everyone here is ready to drop some social or economical advantages we had in the past when, apparently, we had a ''healthy'' balance.

Sadly, I need to say that in Spain most people want to obtain some valuable gaining but working the less possible on it (applied to a high scale of situations). Our politicians (a reflect from our character, indeed), act that way and receive no punishment because still there are a huge number of pp/psoe voters and this is not only because they strongly believe in their ideas, but also because they rather prefer to avoid the fight and finding a solution.

In short: I have the feeling that Spanish people are still blind to very important issues.

Great article, congrats :) keep writing!

Very interesting! It made me think about one simple question: Why then don't we ask the IMF directly for the funds?
