Eurogamer Expo, the UK’s biggest and best gaming festival, is pleased to announce that Valve writer Chet Faliszek will be presenting a developer session on two days of this year’s show.
The session, entitled “How to give yourself a job in the game industry”, will take place at midday on Friday 28th September and at 5pm on Sunday 30th September, giving attendees two opportunities to catch up with one of the world’s top developers.
During the sessions, Chet Faliszek, writer at Valve Software, will answer one of most frequently asked questions by the community – how do I get a job making games? This talk will cover the many options and paths that are currently available and is aimed at not just hopeful professionals, but the entire gaming community. No experience necessary.
“It’s always a pleasure to have Valve at the Eurogamer Expo, so we’re delighted Chet’s joining us again this year,” said Eurogamer’s Tom Bramwell. “Valve is doing fascinating things and I wouldn’t miss this session for the world.”
The Eurogamer Expo will be returning to London’s Earls Court from 27th-30th September 2012 and is expected to welcome over 50,000 gamers. Tickets are available now at www.eurogamerexpo.com.
This year’s developer sessions schedule includes gaming superstars like Hideo Kojima, Peter Molyneux and Dean Hall, along with exclusive presentations of everything from Rome 2: Total War to Halo 4, with more still to be announced.
