“Transformers: Fall of Cybertron” Celebrates With Fans

Posted by: TP Newswire    Tags:  game transformers 2, Transformers 2, transformers 2012, transformers 2012 movie, Transformers 3, transformers 3 game, transformers 4, transformers online game, transformers the game, transformers wiki, war for cybertron    Posted date:  September 13, 2012  |  No comment

To celebrate the launch of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, Activision and High Moon Studios are bringing the adrenalin-fuelled feud between the Autobots and Decepticons right to your front door.

From September 12, 2012, fans of the popular Hasbro franchise can personalize the scene of an epic Transformers battle by simply typing in a postcode and watching as Grimlock, the leader of the Dinobots, and Shockwave, the scientific mastermind of the Decepticons, fall from planet Cybertron and continue their combat on Earth.

Visit www.transformersonyourstreet.com to see them go head-to-head on your street.

Just as in the new game, Grimlock and Shockwave have been battling for centuries on Cybertron. Only this time, the war is so immense the force of their fight sees them thrown off the planet and into Google Street View. They land with a crash and the battle continues, with debris falling to the ground, fires being set off and explosions happening – right in the middle of your neighbourhood.

Matt Tieger, Game Director at High Moon Studios explains: “Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is set amidst an apocalyptic war between the Autobots and Decepticons that ultimately sees the planet decimated. We wanted to give Transformers fans an even more personal experience that would allow them to truly understand the epic scale of the battle and the size of these two enemies as they unleash fury on each other on Earth.”

In Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, Grimlock is a virtually indestructible Autobot with a personal grudge to bear against Shockwave. Shockwave’s experiments left Grimlock with a malfunctioning voice processor and an alt-mode inspired by a primitive world.

Shockwave does not show emotion. He is scientific and detached, using logic to further the Decepticons’ plans. He experiments on prisoners of war by reformatting them into abominations from other worlds or galaxies.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron brought the Hasbro canon story to life on August 24 when the game hit retail stores across Europe. Visit www.transformersthegame.com for more information or to order your copy of the game.
