Prescott, U.S.A — Grey May is launching Speed Kittens worldwide on October 4. iPhone(3GS or newer) and iPod touch(3rd generation or newer) owners will be able to get Speed Kittens for $0.99 on the App Store(SM).

Speed Kittens is an action game that focuses on your reflexes, quick thinking, and aiming. You are in control of a squad of kittens ranging from adorable to hot-shot, and if you have ever seen a kitten on a jet pack you’ve probably noticed how clueless they can be when it comes to ace fighter pilot aviation. Luckily, they have you.

Zeppelins that are carrying milk will try their hardest to get to the other side of the screen, and your job is to crash kittens into them and spoil their plans. (Just don’t spoil the milk…the kittens won’t like
that…)

A typical scene in Speed Kittens will have kittens flying around aimlessly or free-falling, with zeppelins speeding by. Uh-oh! A zeppelin is getting close to escaping. Quickly you tap and hold onto a kitten.
Next, while still holding, you use your cat-like reflexes to dodge two other careless kittens about to crash into your feline ace. You have the shot now, you make a long swipe towards the zeppelin and release, launching the kitten. Nice shot! Thanks to your sniper aim another bottle of milk is saved.

When the programmer, Marcus Schwab, was asked about the development process of Speed Kittens he simply said “Meow” Now that is the sign of a guy that is dedicated to his game(and possibly a little crazy.)
