Dates Extended for Blackout Haunted House Event

Los Angeles, U.S.A. — Due to an onslaught of interest for NYC’s Blackout Haunted House’s premier installation in Los Angeles, the critically-acclaimed attraction will open its doors a week ahead of schedule to scare Californians beginning October 20, 2012.

After three years of rave – and terrified – reviews from New York media and public alike, Blackout Haunted House hits Los Angeles in 2012. Touted as ” NYC’s most horrifying Halloween theater piece,” by the New York Post, Blackout’s chilling design promises to be the most petrifying encounter you can have in Los Angeles this Halloween. Blackout has been enjoying record sales in NYC, and is looking forward to petrifying patrons on the West Coast.

Far surpassing the adrenalin of a 3-D movie or an amusement park ride, Blackout fully submerses you into the experience, surrounding you from every direction with the most frightening scenarios that exceed all imagination. Survivors experience raw, paralyzing fear as they strategically creep through a terrifying assault on the senses. For 20-30 minutes, you are the protagonist in your very own horror movie.

“Our focus for Blackout is theater that is raw and brutal, and unlike anything else out there,” says Josh Randall, co-creator of Blackout. “No two experiences are ever alike, and each one is uniquely terrifying.”

Blackout is open for horror this Halloween season at 207 S. Broadway, Los Angeles . After signing a waiver and agreeing to the rules, audience members are forced to walk through the haunted house alone. The space is open to adults 18 years of age and over, and visitors will find themselves amidst situations designed to induce terror and breach comfort zones such as tight spaces, intensely violent and sexual situations, and complete and utter darkness.

Tickets start at $35.00 and are available at http://www.blackouthh.com/.
