Santa Monica, U.S.A .– On October 17, SupermarketGuru.com celebrates its 50,000 article and 100th Food News Today program with the launch of its newly renovated website and new show format, both that provide real time viewer interaction with the Philip Lempert aka the SupermarketGuru, a leading food trends analyst and food safety expert.

“Today is a milestone,” says Phil Lempert. “With 100 Food News Today shows and 50,000 articles related to food, health and nutrition, we offer the most comprehensive resource for food related news. The new website and show format make it easier for visitors to find the information they’re looking for. I look forward to engaging and facilitating conversations about issues that affect our lives.”

Visited by more than nine million people annually, the new website offers readers easier tools to research and navigate current and past articles, while streaming SupermarketGuru’s social media sites. The site also has improved video quality and a survey section where people can provide opinions on food, grocery and other related issues. In addition, SupermarketGuru.com will continue to feature the favorite “Product Hit and Miss” section where Phil reviews new food products. However, the new site features a new five-star rating so readers also can comment on new products.

With a new look and format, the new Food News Today format offers better shopper interaction and more in-depth food trend insights. Now broadcasting on Thursdays, Food News Today cuts through the clutter and focuses on the stories and trends that matter. It also offers further research to help empower audiences with facts and unbiased food information.

Those interested can subscribe to the Food News Today youtube channel.

In addition, to SupermarketGuru.com and Food News Today, Phil Lempert also publishes Food Nutrition & Science, The Lempert Report, Facts Figures & the Future and a weekly video cast titled New Product Hits & Misses. Many SupermarketGuru articles also are republished in other publications such as Huffington Post and The Daily Meal.
