London, U.K. – Just days after the ferocity of an international rugby match on the hallowed grass of England’s most recognised rugby field, GDS International’s iStrategy Digital Marketing Conference will bring its own interpretation of drama and intensity, bringing together a collision of ideas and opinions shared by the world’s most regarded digital and social media marketers.

On hand to entertain, educate and inspire the high-level 500-strong digital marketers in attendance will be the best speakers from each corner of the globe, all with their very own unique stories to tell. With this in mind, who better to open the conference then Ken Segall, the man behind Apple’s Think Different campaign and the creator of the brand name iMac. Learning from Apple’s example, Ken’s keynote will walk the attendees through the importance of simplicity in an over-crowded world.

Also speaking on day one will be Sonia Carter, the Head of Digital at Kraft. As Head of Digital, Sonia is responsible for Kraft’s brands such as Crème Egg, Wispa, Toblerone and Dairy Milk chocolate and is charged with helping these brands meet their business objectives by reaching, engaging and servicing more consumers through the digital channel.

Kicking off day two will be Mari Smith, a renowned author and speaker on social media, who will deliver a keynote detailing the ways brand can utilise their Facebook presence with real results. A global social media figure, Mari has been featured in the New York Times, Forbes, the Wall Street Journal, Fast Company and Fortune and is the author of the best seller: Facebook Marketing, an hour a day.

Bookmarking the conference on day two will be former MTV Chairman Bill Roedy. Having spearheaded MTV’s growth, as Chairman and CEO, into the largest international entertainment network in existence, Bill has recently released the best-selling book: What Makes Business Rock, a book that outlines how executives can build and manage a business in an ever-evolving business environment.

Other great speakers include: Chris Schaumann, Director of Advocacy, Nokia; Jeff Henry, CEO, Filmflex; Alain Heureux, President and CEO, IAB Europe; Jon Block, Head of Commercial Innovation, ITV; VP and Head of Online Publications, Credit Suisse.

Richard Stirk, GDS International’s VP of Conferences is excited at the prospect of what he believes will be the best line up of talent that iStrategy has ever featured. “At iStrategy, we pride ourselves on exciting thinkers in the digital and business space who can marry their content with clear, actionable takeaways.

“Of course, as well as our pioneering speakers, iStrategy offers ample networking opportunities and we hope to give the 500 plus attendees the most compelling, engaging and relevant conference in the digital industry.”
