I have since the eighties attended concerts originally at Jo-Burg City Hall and then the Linder Auditorium and have enjoyed, as many others have, the fantastic music created by the JSO and JPO. I believe this is a great loss to the nation and music lovers in South Africa. I sincerley hope that the goverment come forward to hel the JPO as well as the private sector.
We have seen the JPO change over the years to a multi-cultural orchestra and youth orchestra, uplifting previously disadvantage youths and adults who formed the national youth orchestra and gave great joy lots of music lovers.
Come on, please don not let this happen!!!
