Las Vegas: Music Must-Sees

In the city of excess, is there anything you cannot get enough of during your stay? There is one thing: amazing performances and music. Las Vegas is known for their wide-range of their big name shows, but the casino lounge scene is even more entertaining. Recently, Toonari Post had the chance to check out this aspect of the city. Patrick Sieben, Mark O’Toole, and Michael Grimm were all amazing performers found throughout Las Vegas. Together, the three musicians have more awards and fame in Las Vegas than there is room to list. Due to the variety of music all three of these musicians perform, their shows are great for all ages, and will have you up and dancing in no time.

Patrick Sieben

Toonari Post was able to watch Patrick Sieben perform in the Zebra Lounge at the Venetian, but he does shows all over Las Vegas six days a week. The Zebra Lounge is a very intimate venue that allows the crowd to feel up close and personal with the performer. Sieben is known for his great talent, and is even an Emmy-winner due to his involvement with U.S. soldiers. His set consisted of great covers, but also has amazing songs for his solo career. Sieben is extremely talented at piano and guitar as well as his amazing voice that allowed him to sound like a combination of Maroon 5 and Matchbox 20 with a unique twist.  Sieben is a young, fun, and talented musician who has a great future ahead of him.

Mark O’Toole

Toonari Post was able to watch Mark O’Toole perform in Addison’s Lounge at the Rampart Casino where he performs every Wednesday night. O’Toole has been around for decades, performing for big names while also winning Star Search in 1994, beating out a five-time winner. He was diagnosed with cancer with only weeks to live in 2007. Now that he has beaten the cancer, he is working his way back to the top in the Vegas scene. During his set, O’Toole performs all of the great Las Vegas classics such as music by The Rat Pack, as well as country and pop songs. O’Toole is an amazing, humble musician who even takes the time to go around the ever-growing crowd to see how everyone is doing. While he is a well-known musician, his future is going to take him even further.

Michael Grimm

Toonari Post was able to watch Michael Grimm perform in Rocks Lounge at Red Rock Canyon, where he performs every Saturday night. Grimm broke through the music scene when he came the winner of America’s Got Talent in 2010. He is a soft-spoken guy until he hits the stage and blows you away with his voice. He has the voice that encompasses the soulful music of songs that made jazz and blues what it is today. He does do amazing covers of these songs, but has great personal songs as well. It will be exciting to see what his future holds when it comes to his musical advances.

The venues listed above are just a few places these musicians perform; check out their personal websites to see the wide-range of venue locations. For other suggestions with performances, definitely check out dueling piano performances, especially at Encore’s Eastside Lounge.

At night it is better as all of the light come on around the display however it does get very busy. If however you go to the top of the paris hotel you need to do get a lovely view of the fountains also.
You’re likely not to miss this whilst in Las Vegas.
