FB – Let’s Be Friends
Like the previous month, there are a lot of games being released in September. Some anticipated titles will be released this month such as “The Wonderful 101”, “Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix”, “Rayman Legends”, and the ever popular “Grand Theft Auto V”. However, if you want a scare right in time for Halloween then there are the Survival Horror games “Outlast” and “Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs” for you to look forward to.
“Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate” is a fighting game in the Dead or Alive series and is developed by Team Ninja. A new feature known as the Power Launcher that launches opponents into the air giving the player a chance to attack with a combo. There have also been changes made to the Tag mode that features two-on-two tag battles in online multiplayer.
“One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2” is the sequel to “One Piece: Pirate Warriors” and developed by Tecmo Koei. The game does not use a canon story like the previous game instead an entirely original story was created for the game. A new feature is a coin system where players spend money they earn in stages to level up their characters quickly rather than training.
“Killzone: Mercenary” is the fifth game in the Killzone series and is developed by Guerrilla Cambridge. This game will mark the first time in a Killzone campaign that will allow players to fight alongside Helghast forces and ISA specialists to carry out missions’ regular soldiers can’t. Players are free to decide which tactics and load outs they’ll use to complete their missions. If successfully completed the players will be rewarded with money and weaponry.
“ARMA III” is the tenth game in the ARMA series and is developed by Bohemia Interactive. The game is set in the near-future during the mid-2030s where NATO forces deployed in the Greek Islands to hold off the Iranian forces from the east. The player will have various objectives and weaponry according to their play style. There will be over 50 villages with enterable and destroyable buildings on the islands.
“The Wonderful 101” is a mass-hero action game and developed by Platinum Games. Players will control an army of superheroes and turn them into various objects called “Unite Morphs”. The players also have the ability to recruit citizens into their own army. The “Unite Morph” will be used to fight enemies, solve puzzles, and move through the environment. The player will create these “Unite Morphs” by drawing a symbol on the GamePad.
“Grand Theft Auto V” is the fifteenth game in the Grand Theft Auto series and is developed by Rockstar North. The players play as three characters Michael, Trevor, and Franklin whose stories interconnect together who can also be switched between at will. The player will be able to complete missions as any of the three. Each character has their own skills and abilities such as Michael entering bullet time in combat, Trevor will deal more damage on enemies, and Franklin will slow down time while driving.
“Scribblenauts: Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure” is the fifth game in the Scribblenauts series and is developed by 5th Cell. Like the previous games the players play as Maxwell with the ability to create any object or person by writing it into his notepad. The main feature in this game is the appearance of heroes, villains, and locations from the DC Universe. The game will feature 2000 characters from the DC Universe from the well-known to the obscure.
“Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix” is an HD remastered collection of the Kingdom Hearts series and is developed by Square Enix 1st Production Department. The games included are “Kingdom Hearts Final Mix”, “Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories”, and “Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. The graphics have been enhanced and there will also be some new cinematics added as well as trophy support.
“Young Justice: Legacy” is a game based on the Young Justice TV series and is developed by Little Orbit. The games will take place between the five-year gap between Season 1 and Season 2. Players will be able to choose three members from a roster of twelve characters to play in fifteen different levels, which they can switch between throughout the levels.
