Dublin, Ireland – Gala Networks Europe, one of the leading free-to-play games publishers and operator of the www.gPotato.eu portal, now started to distribute access keys to the upcoming Closed Beta Testing of its martial arts MMORPG Age of Wulin. Public beta testing will start by the very beginning of 2013, all codes will grant free access to Age of Wulin.

Beta key distribution will happen through various channels. Amongst the first players to receive beta keys are the participants and lucky winners of an in-game event held for players in Allods Online. Additional key giveaways will be coming up soon.
At a later stage, Gala Networks Europe will reveal more details about the public beta testing and launch schedules.

“We are currently working on updating our time and development schedules. Due to the on-going development process in China and additional and important updates being implemented in the latest Chinese version of Age of Wulin, we now have been informed that the European version will see about 30 % more content than the current development version we have been working on so far. This is obviously great and exciting news, and we of course want to bring players the latest version and contents of the game. However, this also requires additional development activities. In terms of localisation, for example, this means we’re now facing 1 million additional characters to be translated. This is leading towards the full launch now happening in 2013, but we are now starting to distribute the first batches of closed beta keys affirming that the closed beta testing will start by the beginning of the new year”, explains Nicolas Pajot, CEO of Gala Networks Europe.

“Of course, our aim of delivering the highest quality possible does not change, and we will invest all necessary resources to deliver the best possible free to play gaming experience.”

In its early beta testing stages, Age of Wulin will be accessible in the English language on European servers for all players. Later on, the French and German localised versions will also become available.

Additionally, the Age of Wulin forums will be opened soon for all groups and players to form and join guilds. Further details on guilds and the unique guild features Age of Wulin offers will be revealed very soon.

Age of Wulin is an epic free to play MMORPG set in Imperial China which revolves around the lore and practice of Chinese martial arts within the Wuxia universe. Gamers can join eight different Sects, each with their own unique style of combat, and experience deep character development. Players will not be bound by traditional level systems, but will instead have the freedom to choose how they want to master their character by acquiring skills.

Freedom of choice is a theme that runs throughout Age of Wulin as players can choose professions and whether they wish to live good, evil, or in between. The choices made will ultimately determine many different outcomes and provide for a personalized story, which is unique for every player. Age of Wulin will offer a unique MMORPG experience in a gigantic open world, including ground breaking new PvP and PvE features.

Los Angeles, U.S.A – Snail Games USA is proud to announce that its martial arts inspired, massively multiplayer online role playing game, Age of Wushu, will make its North American debut February 1, 2013. Already the #1 game in China with over 10 million registered players worldwide, Age of Wushu features realistic combat, replicating the fighting styles made popular by blockbuster Chinese martial arts films. Additionally, Snail Games USA will offer players premium access to closed betas as well as exclusive content through select pre-order packages.

After the first beta ends Nov. 25, players can purchase one of three Age of Wushu Limited Edition Gift Sets (Deluxe, Premium and Collector’s edition). These bundles come packed with unique and robust content, both in-game and real world items, and grant access to the game’s second beta launch, which starts Dec. 20 of this year.

Each Gift Set also has a unique code, which gives players early access into the game’s “Exclusive Access Period” at the Feb. 1 launch. Players that have the “Exclusive Access Period” code will have 90 days to play Age of Wushu before the title’s Free-To-Play launch, May 3rd, 2013.
