A lot of hype is created over A State of Trance 600, which is going to be held in Sepang International Circuit in Kuala Lumpur on March 15. A State of Trance is the name of Armin Van Buuren’s radio show, which has been aired for over 11 years now, with an estimated number of approximately 20 million listeners all over the world.

A State of Trance has been voted one of the most popular radio shows around the world, and Van Buuren was awarded ‘Best Mix Radio Show’ at the Winter Music Conference in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011, with Van Buuren voted as the number one DJ in the DJ Mag Top 100 for five years.

A State of Trance celebrates its birthdays big and in style. Last year ASOT 550 was celebrated with 6 huge shows in London, Moscow, Kiev, Los Angeles, Miami and Den Bosch. This year Van Buuren is bringing out ASOT 600, and from February to April he will travel around the world with ASOT 600: The Expedition World Tour, which will take place in cities such as Madrid, Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Minsk, Sofia, Beirut, Kuala Lumpur, Mumbai, Miami, Guatemala City, New York and Den Bosch.

Tickets to the event in Madrid, Mexico City, Miami and New York are already sold out. A special thing about Van Buuren’s shows is that at the end of December of every year listeners get to vote for their favorite music in the show. Some of it may end up being on ASOT top 20, which gets blended into that year’s tw0-hour Yearmix album.
