Chicago, U.S.A. — In The Curse, players will have to solve 100 difficult puzzles of varying styles inside a cursed book. When puzzles are solved, players will encounter Mannequin, the master of mischief behind The Curse. As progress is made, Mannequin is obliged to give players cogs that open the secret compart which unravels the mystery surrounding The Curse.

The non-linear design of the game gives players the option to complete the variety of puzzles at their own pace. Hints to the final puzzle are scattered throughout the game itself, and players will need to assemble clues he or she finds in order to defeat Mannequin and break the The Curse.
