Star-studded style is taking center stage as QVC returns to Beverly Hills with its much-anticipated The Buzz on the Red Carpet – Live from L.A. broadcast. This must-see style event is scheduled to air Friday, February 24 at 9 PM (ET), live from the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, and will feature Hollywood’s hottest designers, stylists and celebrities. Among them will be Nicole Richie who will debut her bohemian-inspired fashion line, The Nicole Richie Collection.

The multimedia retailer will be joined by a veritable “who’s who” of Tinseltown to give viewers the ultimate red carpet experience, complete with celebrity guests, Oscar-nominated star interviews and exciting, never-before-seen red carpet-inspired pieces.

QVC will also be getting up-close and personal with the industry’s top trendsetters as it joins them behind-the-scenes while they get ready for the biggest night in Hollywood. Fans will hear from their favorite stylists and stars as they share their personal red carpet inspirations, predictions, and inside secrets on how to achieve that special “award-winning” look.

On hand to celebrate QVC’s return to L.A. will be red carpet regulars Joan Rivers, Heidi Klum, theKardashians, Kris Jenner and Wendy Williams, who will share their coveted secrets to looking stunning in the spotlight, while stylists-to-the-stars Cristina Ehrlich and Mark Zunino offer tips and tricks for transforming the season’s top trends into everyday wear.

L.A. Designer Rachel Pally and actress, television personality and red carpet fashion expert Lisa Rinna will be on hand to share their love of fashion and present their debut lines. Acclaimed jewelry designers Judith Ripka and Erica Courtney will also join the all-star lineup to put the finishing touches on the ravishing red carpet looks.

He’s never worn a baseball uniform, but for Brian Evans, it’s been a busy off-season for a guy who wrote a song about a baseball park. Add to it multiple Grammy winning mega-producer Narada Michael Walden’s touch, the famed producer of such superstars as Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey, Elton John, and George Michael, and it’s a song being taken seriously.

Evans, originally from Haverhill, left Massachusetts at 16 and began an acting career on such shows as “Full House” and “Beverly Hills, 90210.” Focusing on a singing career, he’s been opening for the likes of Jay Leno, Joan Rivers, Social Distortion, David Spade, Roseanne Barr, and Mick Fleetwood. His shows with William Shatner have become legendary. His major label debut is currently being produced by Walden. The new CD will be distributed in 60 countries.

But it’s “At Fenway,” that is garnering the most attention. Debuting at #3 on Amazon.com, unprecedented given it was released during football season, the song has already received accolades from the Governor of Massachusetts, Deval Patrick, and United States Senator John Kerry. The Baseball Hall of Fame is adding the song to its library.

“From talk shows who know the 100th anniversary is forthcoming, to T-shirt companies, to corporations who are lining up corporate events, we’ve never had so many requests for Brian Evans to perform than we have in the past couple of months. Numerous companies associated with The Boston Red Sox have been clamoring to get the guy who sings the song about Fenway to appear at their event or to figure out a way to incorporate the song into their own advertising campaigns,” says Mark Biltz, creative director for Brian Evans Music.

“We’ve received a lot of support,” he adds.Support is putting it lightly, as Boston Red Sox Hall of Famer and current post-show commentator Jim Rice is now starring in a TV commercial with Evans in a Best Buy commercial promoting the new CD single.

“It’s obviously our hope that the organization (Boston Red Sox) itself gets behind the song,” says Biltz. “That’s a decision that they will have to make. Our mission has been to promote Brian’s song about the most beautiful baseball park in the world, in our opinion,” says Biltz. “The fans obviously love the song, and that’s all we can ask for. Thousands of downloads are occurring every day of the song. The closer we get to the season, the more the song is selling.”

“Our goal is to do a series of commercials promoting the song throughout the entire season, with different Red Sox players co-starring with Brian,” says Biltz. “It’s been a lot of fun so far, and everyone has been very helpful in helping implement the song into Red Sox Nation. Every player we have approached has said yes to appearing in a spot with Brian after hearing the song. From Donald Trump to Bud Selig to Red Sox owner Larry Lucchino, we’ve received some very nice responses to the song.”

Evans appeared in January at the Jimmy Fund sponsored event, “New Stars For Young Stars,” signing more than 500 donated CD’s for fans.

In the midst of a growing discussion of her weight and style choices, Christina Aguilera seems to shrug off the tension by sporting some attention-grabbing outfits and releasing a new fragrance. The highly talked-about style for this week includes light make-up, no pants, and sheer fishnet stockings.

The talented singer has been snapped while dining out with her beau, taking her son to a pumpkin patch, and buying some lingerie in West Hollywood. Headlines go from, “Christina buys for lingerie instead of pants” to “Xtina starts a pantless trend,” but the controversy doesn’t stop there since the performer has been put on the spot for her weight as well.

Kelly Osbourne, longtime enemy and one of the stars of the popular show, “Fashion Police,” slammed Aguilera using some ugly words and clarifying that while the performer had always mocked her weight, she had actually never looked as bad. Comedienne Joan Rivers, the host of the show, agreed with the panel of judges and added a couple of jokes about her curvy bod.

It has been reported that  Aguilera has been asked to lose some pounds for the next season of the show, ‘The Voice,” an outrageous demand that would make no apparent sense since the reason the songstress was recruited was for her musical talent. Why would she be required to have a skinny figure and not the other mentors?

If the outrageous rumors are true and she’s been told to slim down for the show, we wonder if hit-maker Cee-lo Green would have to go on a diet, too. While she becomes a hot topic in the ongoing war between detractors and supporters, Aguilera keeps working hard on her upcoming album, where she might be collaborating with big names, such as hip-hop star, Eminem.

Her latest fragrance, “Secret Potion,” will soon hit stores, but has already delighted fans with a sophisticated commercial that features Aguilera embracing a sensual look. Aguilera is set to join Maroon 5 onstage for a long-awaited performance of their smash hit, “Moves Like Jagger,” at the American Music Awards on November 20.

A track that has thrust its performers to the top of the music charts all over the world, we wonder if they’ll be teaming up for Aguilera’s next record. However, one thing is clear: Aguilera is living up to the message of her anthem, “Beautiful,” by not paying attention to all the sleazy comments, bad press, and criticism her weight has been getting on the Internet.

With a new fragrance, a promising album in the works, a clothing line with C&A, and a stellar contract to participate in the second season of ‘The Voice,” it seems as if Aguilera will be laughing all the way to the bank this winter.
