New York, U.S.A — Grammy Award-winning artists Rihanna and Bruno Mars, and Grammy Award nominated artist Justin Bieber will perform on The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, to be broadcast Tuesday, December 4 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Victoria’s Secret Angels Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Doutzen Kroes, Candice Swanepoel, Erin Heatherton, Lily Aldridge, Lindsay Ellingson and a bevy of other Supermodels will star in this lingerie runway show.

The special will also include pink carpet interviews, model profiles and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the world’s most celebrated fashion show. The runway looks will include over-the-top lingerie embellished with Swarovski Elements, as well as iconic Angel wings.

From Rihanna’s Caribbean roots to the top of the charts, the runways of Paris and Milan and some of the biggest stages in the world, the 24-year-old, Barbados-born beauty has already won six Grammy Awards, five American Music Awards and 18 Billboard Music Awards, among many others. Since her breakthrough multi-platinum album ”A Girl Like Me,” which included her global smash ”Umbrella,” in just a few short years, Rihanna helped redefine the path of popular music for a new generation.

Rihanna’s latest album, ”Talk That Talk,” had worldwide sales of more than 5.5 million units and brought Rihanna’s worldwide album sales to more than 37 million. Rihanna has logged 146 million digital tracks sold worldwide, establishing her as the top selling digital artist of all time. In addition, she has broken a record at Top 40 with the most #1′s in the chart’s 18 year history. Her new single “Diamonds” off of her next album reached number one in 26 countries within five days. Rihanna kicks off her “Diamonds” World tour in March 2013.

In 2009, Bieber became the first solo artist in history to send four songs from a debut album into the Billboard Hot 100′s Top 40 prior to the album’s release. Three years later, his latest album, “Believe,” also has four songs in the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. “Believe’s” premiere single, “Boyfriend,” hit #1 at iTunes immediately after it was released. The “Boyfriend” video has shattered all YouTube records since its MTV premiere.

The clip generated eight million views in its first 24 hours and has built up to over 86 million views. These performances will mark the artists’ first appearances on The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

Last year’s show garnered the best ratings ever in adults 18-49 and women 18-34 and averaged 11.5 million viewers.

According to the Associated Press, a “tween” campsite popped up overnight in Mexico City, Mexico Sunday, Jun 10, as Beliebers (die-hard Justin Bieber fans) camped out hoping to be among the closest fans to the stage for the teenage superstar, Justin Bieber’s free concert in the central plaza set to take place Monday evening.

Dozens of the Canadian singer’s fans, mostly aged 10 to 14 years old, traveled hundreds of miles, some traveling 14 hours by bus, to camp along a street near the Zocalo, the main plaza of the historic center in Mexico City, on Sunday. Many of the young fans were dressed in purple, Bieber’s favorite color, listened to his music on headphones while being chaperoned by their parents. Many of the parents took off work and let their children miss school to be in the audience Monday as they waited in the line that stretched two blocks, filled with vendors selling Bieber merchandise.

The concert is expected to have a crowd of 200,000, many of which will have to watch Bieber from a series of large screens set up near the plaza. More than 5000 police officers will be on hand for the concert to help keep order around the barricades and checkpoints, taking precautions to prevent crushing fans. In a similar concert by Bieber in Norway in late May, dozens of fans were injured due to a stampede of fans attending the show.

“Naturally we’d be worried about safety, but it looks like the government is taking the necessary precautions,” said Monica Gomez, who is waiting in line with daughter Renata, 11, who will be missing school on Monday.

City official Hector Antunano said the fan encampment will get in the show first in recognition for their dedicated efforts. First in line at the encampment was 17-year-old Frida Cross, the president of the Official Justin Bieber Fan Club of Mexico City. As the hundreds of girls in line chanted “Justin,” they seemed to be more worried about the giant cockroaches that roamed the streets than the security and their safety during the concert.

“Most of the fans will be between 10 and 17 years old. There will be a lot of girls. We are being very careful that the majority of the police are women and we are taking precautions so that there is no rush toward the stage,” said Antunano to the Associated Press. The city is determined to avoid issues that will cause fans to be crushed or injured.

Bieber’s new album ‘Believe’ comes out June 19.

On April 9, The Weinstein Company (TWC) announced that Justin Bieber continues to lend his support to the fight against bullying with use of his song “Born To Be Somebody” in BULLY’s newest TV spot.

The spot premiered on Fandango Monday, April 9, just days before the film is released wide with a PG-13 rating in cities all over the country, and will begin airing on TV as well: http://bit.ly/IbqeJE

“My fans are always up for supporting a great cause. It’s one of the things I’m most proud of as an entertainer,” said Bieber. “I hope they see BULLY with their friends and help start the conversation so we can end bullying.”

“We’re honored that Justin has decided to support this film and the movement that surrounds it,” said TWC President of Marketing Stephen Bruno.

Bieber joins a long list of celebrities who have graciously supported the film’s mission and was one of the dozens of stars who helped #BullyMovie trend on Twitter recently raising further awareness as the film approached its release in theaters.

Companies including Bing and Twitter have partnered to help in the quest to reach as many parents, teachers and children as possible. And, in a move that inspired and rallied hundreds of thousands of supporters, Michigan high school student Katy Butler garnered more than half a million signatures on her petition to the MPAA on Change.org to lower BULLY’s R rating, which subsequently happened last week.

Efforts to pass the Safe Schools Improvement Act are also in the works after TWC Co-Chairman Harvey Weinstein’s recent meeting with Senator Bob Casey. This bill will amend the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 to address and take action to prevent bullying and harassment of students.

BULLY leads all non-fiction films so far for 2012 with its strong opening weekend attendance.
