NGames, a leading online publisher, is proud to announce that Facebook exclusive Naruto game, Pockie Ninja II Social, has been selected for Facebook’s list of the 25 Top-Rated Social Games. The popular social game is also leading the votes for BBG Site’s official Best Browser Game of the Year 2012 award.

Launched earlier this year, Pockie Ninja II Social boasts over 1.2 million monthly active Facebook users – a figure that is growing every day. The Naruto inspired game has enamoured players in 2012 with its unique blend of strategy, social features and colourful graphics, as well as story lines and quests based on the popular Naruto anime series.

The game tasks players with creating and managing their very own ninja village. Starting as the founder and leader of a community of ninjas, players must build a village from scratch, develop a strong economy, and recruit from a plethora of recognisable characters to use in tactical battle situations as part of the village’s offensive and defensive army. Players can team up with friends and join factions for sustained growth – or just have fun wreaking havoc on their friends villages instead.

Pockie Ninja II Social has been nominated for BBG Site’s Best Browser Game of the Year 2012 award. NGames’ other massively popular Naurto, Bleach and One Piece inspired game, the free-to-play browser-based, Pockie Ninja II Original, is also up for the award.

Publisher NGames are hoping to make it a second year of success, following 2011′s triumph with Pockie Ninja – the first game in the Ninja series of webgames. Pockie Ninja steam-rolled more than a third of the annual categories last year, winning awards for Best Graphics, Best New Game, Best 2D Game, Favourite RPG, and the Most Popular browser game of 2011.

Pockie Ninja II Social is already first place in the 2012 voting, garnering over 40,000 votes from gamers across the world.

Between now and January 10th 2013, NGames are offering players the chance to win a limited amount of special keys by voting for either PN2 Social or PN2 Original – or both – on BBG Site. The keys unlock special rewards if either game reaches first place, including $300 worth of desirable items and $300 worth of free in-game coupons.
