Rumbic Studio has unveiled Lost in Night, the company’s latest offering for casual gamers. Combining fast-paced Match-3 action and the excitement of city-building, Lost in Night features three gameplay modes, hand-drawn graphics and relaxing music, and bonuses to keep experienced players on their toes.

As a Match-3 game, the “core” action consists of clearing groups of tiles of different colors. Find three in a row and blow them up, with sometimes unexpected results. Connoisseurs can play against the clock for more adrenalin, while new players receive automatic hints (after five seconds of inactivity) for how to make the well-placed move that can turn the tide of the game.

While other Match-3 games support only one gameplay mode (Swap or Chain), Lost in Night goes a step further by now including Group, a third, new gameplay mode. Swap pieces between spots, trace a “chain” between identical pieces, or – now – explode groups of similar colors. And to complete a level, destroy the marble plaques. It’s harder than it sounds. Another game exclusive is the shape of the playing field: Lost in Night offers a traditional rectangular field as well as an innovative six-sided one for a greater challenge.

Bombs, magnets, lightning, shuffles and other bonuses add another dimension of fun. Bombs and magnets offer targeted assistance, removing pieces in a certain area or of a particular color. By randomly moving or removing game pieces, lightning forces even the smartest players to rethink their strategies on the fly. Chains “tie down” pieces until they are exploded by a neighboring piece. Trophies await those who rise to the occasion. Big explosions, high scores, and combo moves all merit special awards, proudly displayed in the Trophy Lodge.

There is more to Lost in Night than just destroying rows of pieces, however. Players earn coins and points as they progress, which go to building city structures. The structures, built gradually, complement each other and help the player to uncover the city’s secret. Snail races are an entertaining interlude, giving clicking fingers a break as players prepare for the next round. But be sure not to ignore our molluskan friends: by placing bets on the snails, it is possible to win more gold, and more gold means that a bigger, better city gets built.

Lost in Night stands out for its multimedia as well. Hand-drawn background graphics form a pleasant contrast to the cheap renderings found in other software, while the included music helps to relax and concentrate.

Normal, Medium and difficult. One major feedback we got from our early user was the combat is way too difficult for beginner so we decided to add easier combat level.

In normal mode if you hit the enemy anywhere It  will receive the damage and die easily and health regeneration is faster. In Medium/Difficult mode you have to hit the enemies  at the weak point. Weak points are indicated by a glowing spot which disappear after first hit. If and only if you hit the weak spot the enemies will get hurt. In these higher combat level health regeneration speed is less compared to the normal mode. So start with normal mode get comfortable with controls and then explore the higher combat level.

In Guns and Robots, thousands of potential weapon combinations will allow players to fine-tune their arsenal and pinpoint enemies with multiple weapons simultaneously. Weapon customization will be provided with sets divided according to durability, damage, energy consumption and ammo supply. The weapons will be classified according to their visual specifications as well.

The customization process is facilitated as each player will have options to choose from number of cases and weapon enchantments in order to craft their arsenal. All modules variations will be class-based and balanced in game. There will be weapon combinations that do not need ammo but they will have higher energy consumption.

Fun cartoon style weapon suffixes and modifiers will be fine addition to the customization process. Players who want some high action will be able to pick from variety of long range high DPS light machine guns and cases. The best part that the creators of Guns and Robots have prepared is the option to test the weapon assembly before entering the arenas uninterrupted.

Key Biscayne, U.S.A. — Moon Spider Studio’s debut title, Harold, a unique platformer racing puzzle game, will hit consoles and PC next year. In Harold, players guide and protect the titular Harold as he races through a number of beautifully animated, treacherous obstacle courses.

Harold is the first title from Moon Spider Studio. The game puts players in the role of a guardian angel tasked with guiding the title character, Harold, through a series of increasingly complicated courses. Harold’s gangly frame and thick glasses make him a long shot to win any of the races and he will need all the help he can get running, jumping and sliding across multi-tiered levels and against challenging opponents.

In “DOA 5″, they put a lot of details into the setting and background as means to express more of a visual spectacle. As the players fight it out, their characters will sweat and may battle in wet and raining environments, which will cause the characters to get damp hair, wet skin, and semi-translucent clothing.

Jeremy is the focus of the latest trailer for “Blood Knights,” released on August 27 by dtp entertainment and Deck13 Interactive, which will give all the budding succubus disenchanters, werewolf hackers and vampire slayers out there a glimpse into the background of this gutsy guy.

“Blood Knights” is a hack’n’slay that provides a thrilling game experience set during the time of an ancient war between men and vampires. This download game combines spectacular combat with roleplay elements in single player and co-op mode.

Set in the mythical Middle Ages, the players will be able to control both Alysa and Jeremy in their cooperative quest for salvation, either in single player or co-op mode.

Konami Digital Entertainment on August 23, 2012 revealed the second playable demo for its stunning PES 2013 title will be released for, Xbox 360 on August 28th and on PlayStation 3 on August 29 with a Windows PC to follow later in September. The new demo showcases the continued evolution of the game, and offers a truly immersive on-pitch experience.

The demo will be available via XboxLIVE Marketplace and PlayStation Network. The free demo will offer 11 fully-licensed teams, and benefits from a raft of subtle but important gameplay improvements since the first demo was released in July.

“We wanted to show our hand early with PES 2013 as, frankly, there is a lot to enjoy,” commented Jon Murphy, European PES Team Leader for Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH. “However, we are constantly refining the game and this second demo will show fans that we are always striving for perfection, and they will notice many additions and enhancements that bring PES 2013 even closer to matching the grace, unpredictability and skill that top-level football displays.”

The new demo offers six difficulty settings, and allows the user to play ten-minute matches. Since the first demo, the Tokyo-based PES Productions team has been constantly working to analyse how to improve PES 2013, and the new demo is a perfect example of their quest for football perfection.

The game’s balance between offense and defence has been equalised, and the targeting of passes using the game’s feted manual control system has been improved. Similarly, the trajectory of passes has been refined, as has the blocking by defenders, shot speed, and the ways referees officiate – including the overseeing of offside situations.

Critically, the AI when a team is passing out of a defensive situation into a potential attacking one has been fine-tuned – an essential part of a game like PES 2013, where passing and movement are central to build up play. Lobs and looping shots have also been made harder to effect, following feedback from the initial demo. Anthems for the starting line-ups have also been implemented.

With the focus of PES 2013 firmly on the field, the new demo also invites players to tackle a selected number of training trials. The full version of the game offers an exhaustive training roster wherein users can familiarise themselves with quick one-twos, tackling manual shooting and passing and dynamic first-touch moves to gain space on a closing defender. The demo will feature a number of these tests so users can experience the sheer level of control PES 2013 offers.

Twenty-five years ago, a Mario clone named “The Great Giana Sisters” hit the stores. Nintendo wasn’t happy with this cheeky approach, so the game vanished from the shelves as quickly as it appeared.

Despite the rocky start, or perhaps because of it, Giana has maintained a cult following up to this day. Mario’s parents decided to let bygones be bygones and a successful Giana title was released on the Nintendo DS in 2009.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of kings Enhanced Edition for Xbox 360 is now available in Japan. Japanese players can play the game with a cinematic localization on their home entertainment system from Microsoft. The title is expected to be one of the largest Western hits on this market.

“Japan is perceived as a market ruled by local productions. Western brands need a lot of time to build a strong position there. The first feedback that we got shows that The Witcher 2 established a solid foothold and our first steps on this market are very promising for the future. I think that for some, The Witcher 2 will be perceived as another great example of the Polish culture, such as Chopin, whose music is very popular there. We expect that many Xbox 360 owners will buy our game and love what we have prepared for them” – said Adam Kiciński CD Projekt RED’s CEO.

The CD Projekt RED team visited Japan earlier and took part in one of the most popular gameplay shows – Nico Nico. The show normally running for 60 minutes was extended to two hours  by the hosts live, when many on-line commentators asked  for more gameplay performed by The Witcher 2 dev team member. The last and fourth episode of the gameplay stream will be transmitted this Sunday with one of the devs answering the viewers’ questions via Skype.

Furthermore, Japan’s largest gaming magazine Famitsu gave The Witcher 2 a platinum score award – one of the highest distinctions ever given to a Western production. All four reviewers of the game gave it a 9 out of 10 score.

“We think that all Xbox 360 owners in Japan should be interested in The Witcher 2. The game is unique on this platform and offers exceptional gameplay, that should attract a vast audience here” – commented Mitsutoshi Sakurai, CEO of Spike Chunsoft, The Witcher’s publisher in Japan.

Elite Systems, the long established UK based developer and electronic publisher of games for portable, mobile and other devices has confirmed that its second Xbox Live Indie Game, Jet Set Willy 360 has passed ‘peer review’ and has been scheduled for release during the weekend of August 24, 2012. The game will also be released for Windows Phone at that time.

Jet Set Willy for the ZX Spectrum (an 8-bit personal home computer released in the UK in 1982 by Sinclair Research Ltd, which sold in excess of 5 million units worldwide) is one of THE defining games of the 1980s.

Jet Set Willy 360 is the near-100% original ZX Spectrum game, as written by Matthew Smith in 1984 and is being brought to Xbox Live Indie Games as an officially licensed product.
