This Sunday at the reality show “ “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” Kim Kardashian discovered that she had psoriasis.

This is an autoimmune disease which causes red, scaly spots that appears often on the scalp, knees, elbows and torso normally due to stress, and it is not contagious.

After the dermatologist explained that the disease is “not curable, but it’s controllable.” Kim’s reacted saying “Psoriasis? I cannot have psoriasis,”

Kim confessed her stress and pressure, in an episode of the show filmed in April, “People don’t understand the pressure on me to look perfect. When I gain a pound it’s in the headlines. Imagine what the tabloids would do to me if they saw all these spots!”

She has a contract with Sketchers, for the next campaign and this disease make her a bit insecure. “I have to wear a sports bra and I have this rash all over my stomach. What will the producers say? In a photo shoot they can just Photoshop it out, but this is on video. They can’t hide this.”

Many people in America suffer from this disease. The National Psoriasis Foundation exposed that Kim is now part of the 7.5 million Americans who also suffer from psoriasis
