Glendale, U.S.A. – DreamWorks Animation SKG announced that Stephen Colbert of “The Colbert Report”, Emmy Award winner Allison Janney from ‘The Help’ and “The West Wing,” Ellie Kemper from ‘Bridesmaids’ and “The Office,” Ariel Winter from “Modern Family” and Stephen Tobolowsky “Californication” and ‘Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax’ have joined previously announced cast members, Emmy Award winner Ty Burrell of “Modern Family” and Max Charles from ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ and ‘The Three Stooges’ in the studio’s ‘Mr. Peabody & Sherman’, which is now scheduled to be released on November 8, 2013. The film had previously been slated for March 14, 2014, a release date now planned for the studio’s ‘Me & My Shadow’.

“These incredible casting additions have elevated Mr. Peabody & Sherman to a new level of excitement and we are truly fortunate to work with so many talented actors,” said DreamWorks Animation Chief Creative Officer Bill Damaschke. “I’m certain that their collective passion and enthusiasm for the film will bring the classic characters of “Mr. Peabody & Sherman” to new life and thrill audiences of all ages when we open in November of next year.”

‘Mr. Peabody & Sherman’ is directed by Rob Minkoff also director of ‘Stuart Little’ and ‘The Lion King’ and produced by Alex Schwartz – formerly involved in ‘Journey to the Center of the Earth”’and ‘Bridge to Terabithia’ – and Denise Cascino – producer of ‘Megamind’ and ‘Shrek the Third’. It is being written by Craig Wright who also wrote ‘United States of Tara’ and “Six Feet Under” and Michael McCullers from ‘Baby Mama’ and ‘Austin Powers in Goldmember’. Bullwinkle Studios’ Tiffany Ward and Classic Media’s Eric Ellenbogen are serving as executive producers on the film along with Jason Clark who is best known for ‘Monster House’ and ‘Stuart Little’.

Based on Jay Ward’s classic cartoon, Mr. Peabody is the world’s smartest person who happens to be a dog. When his “pet” boy Sherman uses their time traveling WABAC machine without permission, events in history spiral out of control to disastrous and comical results. It’s up to this most unexpected of father-son teams to somehow put things back on track before the space-time continuum is irreparably destroyed.

DreamWorks Animation creates visual entertainment, including CG animated feature films, television specials and series, live entertainment properties and online virtual worlds, meant for audiences around the world.

It was recently announced that for the first time Amnesty International’s world-renowned Secret Policeman’s Ball will be hosted in the United States. The event – a star-studded, legendary night of comedy and music – will take place on March 4, 2012 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

This historic event is a spectacular evening of original comedy, multiplatinum, award-winning musical performers and collaborations, never-before-seen sketches, stand-up and guest appearances, all written around and in support of free speech. An audience of more than 6,000 people will gather at Radio City Music Hall to experience a special night filled with original performances from some of the world’s most popular entertainers including: Coldplay, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Mumford & Sons, Russell Brand, Reggie Watts and many more.

“I used to think humor was a luxury, but at the last election Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert taught me it was a necessity,” said John Cleese. “The Secret Policeman’s Ball was  - and is  - a coming together of the very best comedy talent of any generation to celebrate their art, remind audiences how important free speech is, and highlight just how much vital work Amnesty International does to protect it. After entrepreneur Donald Trump pulled out of moderating a GOP debate, a “giant ego-shaped hole” was left in the Republican primaries, according to The Colbert Report’s Stephen Colbert in a televised December 14 statement — and Nat Geo WILD is springing into action like a lion on a wildebeest.

Nat Geo WILD and ‘Dog Whisperer’ Cesar Millan have agreed to host the next “Serious, Classy Republican” debate with Colbert as the moderator — and officially invite the candidates to participate! The network has started recruiting pint-sized animal-loving participants from around the country to attend the debate, per Colbert’s goal of getting kids involved.

Said David Lyle, chief executive officer of the National Geographic Channels US, “If Colbert wants animals in the buff, we’ll get them. If he wants kids in the audience, we’ll start before bedtime. Bring on the candidates for the greatest battle in the history of the universe. It will be red in tooth and claw.”

Cesar Millan, a ‘People’s Choice Award’ winner for Favorite Animal Show, said, “PAC(k) leaders unite! The candidates need someone to moderate with “Tsssst!” power. This is going to be WILD.”

In officially challenging the candidates to participate, Cesar Millan plans to head to the Iowa Caucus on January 3 — before his new season of ‘Dog Whisperer’ premieres Saturday, January 7 — to see problem-candidate behaviors he can start rehabbing. “Pooches are easy, people are hard, and political candidates … that’s a whole different animal,” he said.

Other Nat Geo WILD talent on board includes Casey Anderson, host of ‘America the Wild,’ who is working with his 800-pound grizzly-bear best-friend, Brutus, to provide questions from the animal kingdom (and has offered Brutus to provide security at the debate!) and reptile expert Brady Barr from ‘Dangerous Encounters’ — who has had his fair share of tussles with crocs, snakes and other reptiles — and is ready to get out his bite meter and see how the candidates score.
