Culver City, U.S.A – In ‘Men in Black 3′, Agents J (Will Smith) and K (Tommy Lee Jones) are back … in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner.

But when K’s life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. J discovers that there are secrets to the universe that K never told him — secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young Agent K (Josh Brolin) to save his partner, the agency, and the future of humankind.

Ken Ralston explains that though several sequences in the film represented exciting VFX challenges – from building a prison on the moon to re-creating the Apollo 11 launch – the biggest challenge of all was to achieve a look that meshed with the film Barry Sonnenfeld was directing. “Barry has a very distinct style,” says Ralston. “It’s very graphic, very distinctive to his movies. Our designs had to be stylized, they had to live within his world, but at the same time, it had to feel believable – even when something unbelievable was happening.”

“Even though technology has changed a lot since the last Men in Black came out, we wanted to make sure we were firmly in the MIB world, and Barry allowed and encouraged us to play and bend the rules inside what is expected to be real. It’s not every day you get to design and create such a wide, wacky, and challenging variety of effects and creatures, and have fun doing it. This, in no small part, is thanks to Barry’s direction and whimsical take on the material and the artists who made it all come alive,” says Jay Redd.

With a mix of humor and style, the visual effects in ‘Men in Black 3′ take us back to the year 1969 with a digital creation of the Apollo 11 Rocket Launch and New York’s Shea Stadium, a chronology shifting time jump, and an action-packed monocycle chase through the streets of Brooklyn.

Men in Black films are known for their unusual and extraordinary alien characters and this film is no exception. Among the digital characters created for ‘Men In Black 3′ are the giant alien fish, the weasel alien, the villain alien Boris, the bowling ball headed alien known as Tony, and a return of the popular Worm Guys.

Imageworks also created digital doubles for Agent J (Will Smith), Young Agent K (Josh Brolin) and Griffin (Michael Stuhlbarg). Imageworks worked closely with Oscar-winning special effects make-up artist Rick Baker, digitally extending and recreating physical characteristics in the digital world.

On the heels of making their US performance debut while on tour with Nickelodeon’s Big Time Rush, One Direction, who are already an international pop sensation, has been confirmed to perform at Nickelodeon’s 25th Annual Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday, March 31st at 8:00 p.m. ET.

The band will also host Saturday nights on Nick throughout March, giving viewers exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the boys as they tour with Big Time Rush. One Direction will be sharing stories, secrets and music from the road, leading into the world premiere of the Nickelodeon original television movie event, Big Time Movie on Saturday, March 10 at 8:00 p.m.

“One Direction is performing on the Kids’ Choice Awards for the first time and it’s going to be scream-worthy,” said Paula Kaplan, an Executive Producer of the Kids’ Choice Awards. “While on tour with Big Time Rush, we have seen their popularity explode, and we are excited to introduce them to our audience during the month of March with exclusive access to the guys leading up to our biggest event of the year.”

One Direction will perform their debut single “What Makes You Beautiful” at the Kids’ Choice Awards,joining host Will Smith for the star-studded event airing live from University of Southern California’s Galen Center in Los Angeles, where kids will honor their favorite celebrities spanning the worlds of film, music, TV and sports.

The X Factor group’s debut single “What Makes You Beautiful,” recently won a BRIT Award for Best British Single, with the music video garnering over 61 million views on VEVO and had more than 132,000 downloads in its first week in the USA. It is also the highest Billboard HOT 100 debut for a UK act in over 14 years since the Verve and they are also the last UK group to chart so high since the Spice Girls.

Most recently, One Direction featuring Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan taped an episode of the Nickelodeon hit comedy series iCarly, entitled “iGot Jungle Worms,” which is set to premiere later this year.

One Direction will debut their album Up All Night in the US on March 13, 2012. Up All Night is already a global success entering the charts at #1 in 6 countries including Sweden and Italy and top ten in 12 more and has been certified triple platinum in Ireland, double platinum in the UK and platinum in New Zealand &Australia.

One Direction joined Big Time Rush’s “Better With U Tour” on February 24th in Chicago and their US debut kicked-off with the highly successful grassroots BRING1D2US online campaign which saw the band break records with social media platforms Twitition and Twibbon. Will and Jada Pinkett Smith are rumored to be getting a divorce. Rumors have spread about the split between the couple. They have recognized that their marriage is not always perfect and they are currently having significant problems, but that doesn’t mean they have made the decision to separate.

Will and Jada Pinkett Smith have been married for over 13 years and have two children together. Reports In Touch Weekly s stated the couple has already separated. Sources on www.tmz.com, a gossip site, were told it is “definitely a possibility,” but the couple hasn’t pulled the trigger.

Trey Smith, Will’s son from a previous marriage, wrote on Twitter,  “Will and Jada getting a divorce…not true at all. Retweet.” The couple even released a joint statement shooting down In Touch Weekly’s reports about their split. “Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false.

We are still together, and our marriage is intact,”the two stars said. Sources on www.tmz.com doubt the language constructed on their statement. They have become curious since the couple have repeated over and over again that they are still in love and committed to each other.

Smith’s family is going on vacation together.  Sources would neither confirm nor deny if the trip is meant to save the relationship. Smith’s publicist was late to the news and said to TMZ, “What? In Touch said that? I know nothing about this…Lord. I’m going back to bed.” There are also rumors about March Anthony and Jada having an affair. Marc Anthony called the whole story “laughable.”

Earlier this month Anthony said at “Nightline” that he is really upset at these reports because he admitted they have been friends for years. He is bothered by the effect might have on Smith’s family and their loved ones. Anthony also talked for the first time about his divorce with Jennifer Lopez. He said he never cheated on Jennifer Lopez and that he will always love her.

On “Good Morning America” March Anthony kept talking about his divorce wanting to clear up that nothing important caused their separation and there was no infidelity. “I’ll always love Jennifer … and she knows that, it’s important that she knows it and so do my kids,” the singer said.

Will Smith also wants to rip apart every report that says he is splitting from his wife. He wants to clarify all the rumors are ridiculous. When the couple was shopping in Malibu they showed romantic behaviour and they called each other “baby.” For Will and Jada Pinkett Smith the rumors may be just that, but for many stars rumors give a way to reality.

Several celebrities are  known by denying divorce rumors, splitting shortly thereafter, such as, Madonna and Guy Ritchie, Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson, Heather Mills and Paul McCartney, Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, and last but not least.  Avril Lavigne and Deryk Whibley.

Django Unchained is the new movie written and soon-to-be directed by Quentin Tarantino set when slavery plagued the South. Right now the movie is in pre-production and is still looking for people to fill the cast. Releasing his most recent film Inglourious Basterds in 2009, Tarantino has been keeping busy with Django for some years now.

With all movies, rumors spread around the Internet like flies on a discarded orange. Django is no exception to this. It is rumored that Will Smith was Tarantino’s first pick for the role of the main character Django, who is a freed slave trying to save his love from the clutches of Calvin Candie, a white plantation owner. Will Smith turned this down.

After some days of searching, the role was finally filled by actor and musician, Jaimie Foxx.  His most famous role was playing Ray Charles in the movie Ray, for which he won an Oscar for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role. In that same year, he was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role for Collateral.

Other actors who have popped up on the cast list as well. Leonardo DiCaprio might play the evil Candie, and rumors have been spread that Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds) will play Dr. King Schultz, the German bounty hunter who helps Django with his rescue/revenge mission.

Tarantino finished the script early in May. It has been reported that it is 166 pages long, which converts into, roughly a 2 hour and 40 minute film. Shortly after being finished, the script leaked. Indiewire.com got a handle on it and describes the script as the most straightforward story that Tarantino has written. In the movie, it does not play around with 2 or 3 story lines like Inglourious Basterds did with Shoshanna and the Basterds.  Instead, it has one timeline, one story, in one area of the South.

Tarantino drew from two main influences: the spaghetti western Django by Sergio Corbucci and Sukiyaki Western Django.  Corbucci’s film is like a civil rights meets Fist Full Of Dollars movie. A gunslinger enters a town torn between two rivaling sections. One section is run by the KKK, and the other by Mexican bandits.  Funny enough, Quentin Tarantino is part of the cast of Sukiyaki Western Django.  This film is also closely related to Fist Full Of Dollars because of its gang-related plot.

Still in pre-production anything goes for the new Tarantino flick. With filming starting this fall and released scheduled for December 2012, this is one movie that people will keep their eyes and ears tuned as more information rolls in about the vengeful slave, Django.

The multitalent Jamie Foxx is set to star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in Tarantino’s newest work which will reportedly reveal the story of a freed slave’s tribulations.

According to US reports, the Oscar-winning actor for his 2005 performance of musician Ray Charles role in Ray, will embody the lead role of an emancipated slave Django who returns to free his wife.

The actor was selected for the role over multiple stars including Idris Elba, Terrence Howard and Chris Tucker. Kerry Washington, who also starred beside Foxx in Ray is in works to play the wife of Foxx’s character. Foxx’s character learns to be a contract killer and ultimately returns to his past plantation to free his wife.

Leonardo DiCaprio is casted as the plantantion’s atrocious owner by the name of Calvin Candie. Additionally, Samuel L. Jackson is set to play a menacing slave named Stephen who fully submits to DiCaprio’s wild character while Christopher Waltz will play a German Bounty hunter who becomes a teacher for Django.

While the film’s title was inspired by Sergio Corbucci’s 1966 western Django, Django Unchained is referred to by Tarantino as “southern”.

In addition to the many actors in connection to the film, Will Smith was the first to be linked to play the role of Django yet it looks as though he turned down the role. This likely could have been in response to the abundant use of the n-word throughout the film’s script.

Nonetheless, with a talented cast set to embody the characters within Tarantino’s intriguing work, Django Unchained is sure to be a film meriting grand appeal and countless viewers.
